Rupel Claims Kosovo Will Become Independent Once Serbia Joins EU

Kosovo will become independent once Serbia becomes a member of the European Union, said Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel, cited by the Macedonian Makfax . "Without European Serbia, it would be difficult to create a stable Kosovo," Rupel said Monday, during the meeting of EU Council of Ministers.He added that not only Serbia, but all countries in the Western Balkan region should be admitted to the EU, which would pave the way to Kosovo independence.
