Bulgaria to send military equipment, two more medics to Afghanistan

SOFIA, Bulgaria -- Defence Minister Vesselin Bliznakov announced on Thursday (21 September) that the government has decided to send two more medics to join the eight-member Bulgarian medical team deployed in Afghanistan. Speaking to the national TV channel bTV, Bliznakov added that Sofia would deliver donated military equipment to Afghanistan's armed forces in the coming days. (bTV - 21/09/06)
