Bulgaria Balkan Top-Scorer in Encouraging Investments

Bulgaria is the Balkan leader in facilitating and encouraging foreign investments, a survey shows.The results were presented in the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade.According to the survey Bulgaria and Romania are champions on the Balkans as far as tax policy is concerned. It praises Romania for its efficient corruption combat, unlike Albania, which lags at the bottom of this ranking. Germany is the biggest exporter of goods to the Balkans, accounting for 14,2% of all imports. Italy comes second with 14 %.In 2005 Italy exported goods for over EUR 10 B to the nine Balkan countries and more than doubled that figure in the next year.
